Is this a good activity to bring a ten year old to?

A ten-year old might find it very engaging. The Happiness Hour is essentially an introduction to Peace House and there are always kids crafts activities available.

My son was 7 during the first Gulf War and understood very well how important it was that his family was taking a stand for peace. He even made the CBS national news during a teach-in when a cynical reporter thought he was being exploited as a "prop." She discovered quickly that out of the mouths of babes comes great wisdom. She asked him if he knew why he was there. He said, "Well, there is a war. People are dying and it is important to know why."
If ever there is a draft, I hope we can get a copy of my son's "testimony" to add to his Conscientious Objector's portfolio.
